Server Wipes

I'm fairly interested in this maple server, but while I was browsing through the forums I saw something about this server having like 20 wipes. I was thinking about introducing this server to about 3 or 4 people, so could someone tell me if this server is going to have more wipes in the future? I do understand about random crashes, and bugs that do block the server from starting up as I have owned my own server before. Those could be prevented by regular backups of the system (Just a suggestion).

I don't believe we will have wipes anytime soon, so you should be alright. If the server gets hacked too much, Andy will probably wipe it. Enjoy your stay at PandaMS ^ ^

Lol I haven't even started D: I couldn't use the Maplestory setup, so I've been downloading file by file and placing it into the folder. I think I should be able to start in like a couple of hours.

So our first Source.... It had fkin soo many glitches that it would've taken less working coding a new one from scrapes so we changed it to Helios... Helios was ok but I had to wipe to redo all the npc... Then hackers and I got pissed so I wiped. then dupers until we changed to LocalMS had 2 Wipes and now we're here.
And we still have the current data of LocalMS so if we change source... No worrys. Ill take the time and transfer all the accounts over

Oh and another question, are you hosting the server through your comp?
